Veritas University School Fees 2026/2027 Academic Session: Full Breakdown

Are you looking for Veritas University school fees for the 2026/2027 academic session? Before you start your admission process, it is important to know how much you may need to pay for your course, accommodation and other charges. The amount paid at Veritas University is not the same for every student, as it depends on the course you choose and whether you are a fresher or a returning student.

In this guide, you’ll find Veritas University school fees for all courses, including hostel fees and other important charges, to help you plan your budget.

Veritas University School Fees For 2026/2027

For the 2026/2027 academic session, Veritas University, Abuja has opened admissions for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. However, the university’s current official fees page does not display a single static table of 2026/2027 undergraduate fees. Instead, it provides a fee calculator where students select their student type, programme, courses and, for undergraduates, accommodation to determine the applicable charges.

This is important because the previously quoted figures such as ₦1,520,200 for English & Literary Studies, ₦2,550,300 for Law and ₦4,213,000 for Medicine & Surgery should not be presented as confirmed 2026/2027 fees unless they appear in the university’s current 2026/2027 fee calculation or official fee schedule.

Veritas University’s official admissions page confirms that an academic session consists of two semesters of four months each and that the university accepts UTME candidates with a minimum score of 170, alongside other eligible admission routes.

How Much Is Veritas University School Fees Per Semester?

Veritas University does not list its undergraduate fees as a fixed “per semester” charge. The university states that one academic session consists of two semesters, while its published undergraduate fee schedule gives tuition as an amount for the full session.

Based on the university’s published fee schedule, the estimated semester cost can be calculated by dividing the annual tuition by two.

For example:

These are estimated semester equivalents, not separate official semester bills. Veritas University’s published fee page says undergraduate tuition is combined with the student’s chosen hostel fee to form the total fee for the full academic session, and both are to be paid together.

Therefore, if you are planning your budget, you can use roughly ₦760,100 to ₦2,106,500 per semester for tuition, depending on the programme. Accommodation and other applicable charges can increase the actual amount you need to budget.

Does Veritas University School Fees Include Accommodation?

No. The university presents undergraduate tuition and accommodation as separate components.

The official fee page explains that undergraduate tuition should be combined with the hostel fee selected by the student to determine the total fee for the session.

This is why students should look at both the tuition table and accommodation options when calculating their expected expenses.

How Much Does It Cost To Study At Veritas University?

There is no single answer because the total depends on:

• Your course
• Whether you are a fresher or returning student
• Your accommodation choice
• Applicable faculty or programme charges
• Any additional charges that apply to your situation

For instance, Medicine and Surgery has a much higher published tuition than many education, humanities and social science programmes. Accommodation can then be added to the tuition.

Students should therefore calculate their cost based on their specific course, rather than using an average figure.

How To Confirm The Correct Veritas University Fees

Because university fees can change from one academic session to another, students should confirm the amount before paying.

Veritas University currently provides an online fees section where students can select the student type, programme and accommodation to calculate the applicable tuition.

You can also contact the university’s appropriate office if you need clarification about your fee status or payment options. The university’s FAQ page directs students with funding and fee-option questions to its Bursary Unit.

Do not rely solely on an old blog post, social-media post or message forwarded on WhatsApp when making a large school-fee payment.

Veritas University Admission And Application Fee

School fees should not be confused with the admission application fee.

Veritas University’s admission information states that undergraduate applicants are required to pay an application fee of ₦10,000 through the admission portal.

This is an application-related payment and should not be treated as the same thing as the annual tuition fee.

For the 2026/2027 admission process, the university has also announced a screening exercise running from July 13, 2026, to November 30, 2026.

Can Veritas University Fees Change?

Yes. Prospective students should understand that published fees can be revised by the university.

This is especially important when comparing a previous academic session with a new one.

For this reason, the figures in this article should be read alongside the latest information provided directly by Veritas University. If the university releases a new 2026/2027 undergraduate fee schedule, students should use the new schedule instead of assuming that the previous year’s fees remain unchanged.
