Ajayi Crowther University School Fees 2026/2027: Full Breakdown For Freshers And Returning Students
If you are planning to study at Ajayi Crowther University (ACU), knowing the school fees is an important part of preparing for your education. The amount you pay depends on your course and level of study, while other expenses such as accommodation and compulsory charges may also need to be considered.
ACU does not have one fixed fee for all students. For instance, the tuition for a Law student can be different from what a student studying Education or Agriculture pays. This is why it is important to check the fee for your specific programme before making a budget.
For the 2026/2027 academic session, ACU has opened its admission process and provided information about available programmes. However, an official undergraduate fee schedule for 2026/2027 was not available on the university’s website at the time of writing. The latest official undergraduate fee schedule available is for 2025/2026. Therefore, the figures in this guide are based on that official schedule and should be used as a reference until ACU releases the new 2026/2027 fees.

How Much Is Ajayi Crowther University School Fees Per Year?
There is no single annual fee for every student at Ajayi Crowther University. Your total tuition depends on your programme and academic level.
For example, a 100-level student studying Agriculture is listed at ₦200,000, while a 100-level Law student is listed at ₦2,001,000. This is a substantial difference and shows why prospective students should check the fee attached specifically to their course.
Other programmes fall between these figures. Accounting is ₦1,167,000 at 100 level, while Computer Science and several Engineering programmes are ₦1,275,000 at 100 level. Nursing Science is listed at ₦1,457,800, while Medical Laboratory Science and Radiology & Radiation Science are each listed at ₦1,221,240 at 100 level.
Therefore, when budgeting for ACU, it is better to start with your specific programme rather than using a general university-wide estimate.
ACU School Fees Payment Plan
One useful feature of the official fee schedule is that students do not necessarily have to pay the entire tuition amount at once. For the 2024/2025 academic session, ACU’s minimum payment plan divided tuition into three instalments:
- First instalment: 50% at resumption of the first semester.
- Second instalment: 25% at resumption in January.
- Third instalment: 25% at resumption of the second semester.
This payment structure is stated directly in the university’s approved fee schedule. For instance, if a programme has a tuition fee of ₦1,000,000, the 50%-25%-25% structure would mean:
| Payment | Amount |
|---|---|
| First payment – 50% | ₦500,000 |
| Second payment – 25% | ₦250,000 |
| Third payment – 25% | ₦250,000 |
| Total | ₦1,000,000 |
This can make planning easier for families because the entire tuition does not have to be paid at the beginning of the academic session, subject to the university’s applicable payment requirements.
Ajayi Crowther University Accommodation Fees
Tuition is only one part of the cost of studying at ACU. Students who intend to stay in university accommodation also need to consider hostel charges. For the 2024/2025 academic session, ACU’s official schedule lists two accommodation categories:
| Accommodation | Full Session Fee | First Semester | Second Semester |
|---|---|---|---|
| Regular Hostel | ₦250,000 | ₦125,000 | ₦125,000 |
| Premium Hostel | ₦300,000 | ₦150,000 | ₦150,000 |
The official document states that accommodation fees should be paid into the designated account before students are allowed into the hostels.
This means a student should add the appropriate accommodation fee to the tuition when preparing an overall education budget. For example, if a student’s tuition is ₦1,000,000 and the student chooses the Regular Hostel at ₦250,000, the combined tuition and accommodation would be ₦1,250,000 before considering other applicable charges and personal expenses.
If the student chooses Premium Hostel accommodation at ₦300,000, the combined amount would be ₦1,300,000.These calculations are simply examples based on the published 2024/2025 figures.
Other Ajayi Crowther University Fees
Apart from tuition and accommodation, ACU’s official fee schedule contains additional charges that some students may need to pay. The listed charges include:
| Fee | Amount |
|---|---|
| Application Form – New Entrants | ₦15,000 |
| Acceptance Fee – Law | ₦65,000 |
| Acceptance Fee – Basic Medical/Nursing Programmes | ₦60,000 |
| Acceptance Fee – Other Programmes | ₦45,000 |
| Medical Examination – Freshers | ₦11,000 |
| Matriculation Fee – Freshers | ₦5,000 |
| Entrepreneurship & Mind Education Certification – 200–400 Level | ₦40,000 per session |
The university also lists programme-specific clinical supplementation fees. The schedule includes ₦75,000 for Environmental Health Science and ₦200,000 for specified Basic Medical/Nursing programmes, subject to the applicable programme and academic level.
These additional charges are important because tuition alone may not represent the complete amount a student needs to budget for the academic year.
Does ACU Charge The Same School Fees For Every Course?
No.
Ajayi Crowther University does not have one flat undergraduate tuition fee for every programme.
The official 2025/2026 schedule shows major differences between programmes. For example, Agriculture and Christian Religious Studies were listed at ₦200,000 per level in that schedule, while Law was listed at ₦2,001,000 for 100 Level. Nursing Science, Engineering and other programmes also had different charges.
This is why students should always check their specific course and level before budgeting.
How To Pay Ajayi Crowther University School Fees
Students should be careful when making payments because school-fee scams can result in loss of money.
ACU’s official 2025/2026 fee document instructed parents and students to make payments through the university’s payment platform and warned against paying individuals or unauthorised persons. The university also provided separate instructions for fresh and returning students.
According to the published instructions, fresh students use the university admission platform to register and make payment, while returning students use the student portal. The university also provided online and bank-branch payment options through its payment process.
Before making any payment for the 2026/2027 session, students should confirm the current instructions directly from the university rather than relying on an old payment procedure.
Is The 2025/2026 Fee Still The 2026/2027 ACU School Fee?
Not necessarily.
This is an important point for anyone searching for Ajayi Crowther University school fees 2026/2027.
The university’s website currently states that admission is open for the 2026/2027 academic session, and it has published courses available for that session. However, the official fee document available for undergraduate regular students is still labelled 2025/2026.
Therefore, it would be misleading to present the 2025/2026 figures as confirmed 2026/2027 fees.
The safest approach is to use the 2025/2026 figures as a guide and confirm the final amount from ACU once the 2026/2027 fee schedule is released.

How Much Should A Prospective ACU Student Budget?
Your total budget depends on your course, level and whether you will live in a university hostel.
A student should consider more than tuition alone. Depending on the situation, the budget may include:
- Tuition
- Acceptance fee
- Medical examination
- Matriculation
- Accommodation
- Clinical or programme-specific charges
- Certification fees where applicable
- Feeding
- Transportation
- Books and learning materials
- Personal expenses
For instance, someone studying Law may need a significantly larger tuition budget than someone studying Agriculture based on the latest official schedule.
This does not mean that the figures will remain unchanged for 2026/2027. It simply shows why students should identify their programme before estimating their total university expenses.
