FUOYE School Fees For Nursing

If you are specifically interested in Nursing Science at FUOYE, the official registration portal places Nursing in the same sundry-fee category as Law, Medical Laboratory Science, Radiology and Pharmacy.

The listed amount is:

• Freshers: ₦290,000 sundry fee
• Returning students: ₦135,000 sundry fee
• Certain 200-level returning students: ₦145,000 sundry fee

Nursing students may also encounter programme-specific charges at certain levels. For example, the official portal lists some clinical and practical charges separately. One listed charge is ₦62,500 for a 400-level second-semester practical examination category covering specified nursing clinical areas, while another listed 300-level mental-health/psychiatric clinical-posting charge is ₦75,000.

This is why it is important not to assume that the sundry fee alone represents every payment a Nursing student may make during the academic year.

FUOYE School Fees For Medicine And Surgery

Medicine and Surgery falls into one of the higher fee categories on the official FUOYE undergraduate schedule.

The published sundry fee is:

• Freshers: ₦390,000
• Returning students: ₦265,000

These amounts are specifically identified by FUOYE under the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery category.

Medicine students should also pay attention to other applicable university charges rather than treating the ₦390,000 or ₦265,000 figure as an all-inclusive cost for every possible payment.

FUOYE School Fees For Law

Law is grouped with Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, Radiology and Pharmacy on FUOYE’s official fee schedule.

The listed sundry fee is:

• Freshers: ₦290,000

• Returning students: ₦100,000

There is also a separate category for Communication & Media Studies, Computing & Information Engineering, which has a different listed amount of ₦225,500 for freshers and ₦100,000 for returning students.

Therefore, students should identify their exact programme rather than assuming that every course containing the word “Engineering” has the same fee.

FUOYE School Fees For Science And Agriculture Courses

Students in Science, Science Education and Agriculture fall under a ₦190,000 fresher sundry-fee category according to the official portal.

For returning students in this group, the listed sundry fee is ₦90,000.

FUOYE School Fees For Arts, Education, Management And Social Science Courses

For freshers in Arts, Social Science, Management Sciences and Education, the official portal lists a sundry fee of ₦190,000.

For returning students in the same group, the listed amount is ₦80,000.

The amount is therefore not necessarily the same for every student across all faculties.

Other FUOYE Fees Students Should Know About

One reason students sometimes find different FUOYE fee figures online is that school fees, sundry fees, acceptance fees and other charges are not necessarily the same thing.

For example, FUOYE’s official portal currently lists the following separate charges:

• Admission screening fee: ₦2,000
• Acceptance fee for Agriculture, Arts, Education and Science: ₦80,000
• Acceptance fee for Basic Medical Sciences, Law, Medicine and Pharmacy: ₦100,000
• Acceptance fee for Communication and Media Studies, Engineering, Environmental Design and Management, Management Sciences and Social Sciences: ₦90,000
• General Studies fee for freshers and 200-level students: ₦1,500
• Medical registration and fitness screening fee: ₦20,000
• FUOYE Internet Distribution Service (FIDS) fee: ₦20,000
• SWEP and log-book fee: ₦7,500
• Farm practical/SIWES fee: ₦7,500

Not every student will necessarily pay every charge on this list. Some are connected to a particular programme, level, activity or circumstance.

Does FUOYE charge The Same School Fees For All Courses?

No.

The official FUOYE schedule shows different sundry-fee categories for different groups of programmes.

For example, the listed fresher amounts range from ₦190,000 for several Arts, Education, Management, Social Science, Science and Agriculture categories to ₦390,000 for Medicine and Surgery. Law, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, Radiology and Pharmacy are listed at ₦290,000, while Engineering and Environmental Design and Management are listed at ₦240,000.

This means that a student should search for the fee attached to their particular programme rather than relying on one general FUOYE school-fee figure.

Why You May See Different FUOYE School Fees Online

If you search Google for FUOYE school fees, you may find different figures on different websites.

There are several possible reasons for this.

First, fee schedules can change between academic sessions. FUOYE itself explains that academic charges are approved for each academic session and published through official channels.

Second, some websites may be reporting only the sundry fee, while others may combine sundry fees with acceptance fees or other charges.

Third, some figures may relate to returning students, while another article may be discussing freshers.

Finally, some programmes have special charges that do not apply to every student.

For this reason, students should check the current FUOYE registration portal before making payment.

How To Confirm Your FUOYE Fees

The safest way to confirm your payment obligation is to use the university’s official online registration system.

FUOYE’s official academic-fees page explains that approved fees are communicated through official university channels, while the registration portal provides the detailed fee categories used during registration.

Before paying, check:

• Your admission status.
• Your programme and department.
• Your student level.
• Whether you are a fresher or returning student.
• The applicable sundry fee.
• Acceptance or other compulsory charges that apply to you.
• Any programme-specific charges.
• The final amount displayed by the official university payment system.

Do not rely on an old fee schedule simply because it appears in a search result.
